Da sempre fonte di spunti importanti, la «The American Historical Review» conferma la sua qualità anche nell'ultimo numero (125/1, 2020). Il volume accoglie una significativa quantità di contributi che, attraverso una prospettiva internazionale e multidisciplinare, mettono al centro anche il tema del lavoro. Sottoforma di laboratorio didattico, ad esempio, figura l'articolo di Mary Jane Treacy (Greenwich Village, 1913: Suffrage, Labor, and the New Woman): un modo intelligente per trasmettere agli studenti l'eterogeneità delle frange radicali, troppo spesso racchiuse all'interno di esegesi monolitiche e opache. Risulta decisamente interessante anche la sezione dedicata alle recensioni. Tra queste, segnaliamo quelle a: L. Fink - J.M.
